CD5 DFL is dedicated to organizing and elevating DFLers from all communities to ensure broad participation and representation within our party.

Party officers for CD5 were elected at the May 9, 2026 Convention at St. Louis Park High School. We are a volunteer-run organization, and our purpose is to:

To elect and/or re-elect a DFL endorsed member of congress representing the district and to elect and/or re-elect DFL endorsed members of the Minnesota State Legislature whose districts reside in whole or in part within CD5.

To strengthen the organization and unity of the DFL party in CD5 by providing a representative and responsible link between the DFL party units within CD5.

To represent the interests of the CD5 members to the state and federal governments and the DFL Party of Minnesota.
